Players of the week

Austin Beaumier, West De Pere: The senior rushed for 246 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Green Bay East to help the Phantoms secure a share of their first Bay Conference title since 2012.

Dylan Hendricks, Pulaski: The junior rushed for 279 yards and five touchdowns in a victory over Manitowoc to power the Red Raiders to a WIAA Division 2 playoff berth for a second straight season. Hendricks finishes the regular season as the FRCC scoring (22 touchdowns) and rushing (1,639 yards) leader.

Ethan Kroll, Sevastopol: The junior running back, pictured at top, rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns in a victory over Gibraltar to lift the Pioneers to the outright MONLPC-8-Player title. It’s Sevastopol’s first outright conference title since 1960.

Derik LeCaptain, Southern Door: Stepped in at quarterback due to an injury and completed 12-of-20 passes for 158 yards and three touchdowns in addition to rushing for 127 yards on 34 carries with another touchdown on the ground to help the Eagles secure the outright MONLPC-Large title with a win over Coleman.

Wrightstown Defense: The Tigers put together six straight quarters of shutout football to end the regular season and earn the outright North Eastern Conference title. Mason Kussow came up with an interception at the end of Wrightstown’s 6-0 shutout over Little Chute Friday.

Offensive line of the week: Bay Port

The Pirates compiled 484 yards of offense, including 280 rushing yards, in a 49-21 victory over Green Bay Preble to secure the outright FRCC title for a second straight season behind the blocking of Owen Trast, Eli Trast, Ben Rathburn, Ty Dorvinen, Matt Rotter and tight end Jack Plumb.
