TEAM OF THE WEEK: Wrightstown

Ben Jaeger score a pair of rushing touchdowns, including a 8-yard scamper to cap a 10-play, 91-yard drive in the third quarter for the deciding score of the game. Freedom had a 369-260 advantage in yards and an 11-minute advantage in time of possession. However, the Tigers forced four turnovers, including a fumble recovery by Jaeger.
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Tanor Bortolini, Kewaunee: The junior made 4 ½ tackles, including two tackles for loss, recorded a safety, recovered two fumbles and returned a fumble for a touchdown in the Storm’s 51-12 victory over Coleman. The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder also was part of an offensive line that didn’t allow a sack in racking up 351 yards of offense as Kewaunee clinched a share of its first conference title since 2010.
Mitch Chosa, G.B. Notre Dame: The senior made a game-high 12 tackles, including three tackles for loss to lead the Tritons in a 20-14 victory over Preble. The linebacker forced a fumble in the final 2 minutes of play in addition to help Notre Dame rush for 181 yards as a lead blocker at fullback.
Evan Frisque, West De Pere: Filling in for a couple of injuries at running back, the senior rushed for a season-high 119 yards and two touchdowns to help the Phantoms stay unbeaten with a 35-7 victory at Menasha. Frisque also made five tackles, including 1½ tackles from his linebacker spot.
Isaiah Gash, Bay Port: The junior, pictured at the top, rushed for 199 yards on 31 carries and scored six touchdowns as the Pirates remained undefeated with a 55-20 victory at Green Bay Southwest.
EJ Reese, G.B. Preble: The senior made a game-high 12 tackles, while also rushing for a team-high 66 yards on six carries filling in for an injured Kody Joski during a 20-14 loss at Notre Dame. A late run by Reese in the fourth quarter set up a first-and-goal situation to help Preble make it a one-score game. He then made a pass break up on third down to give the Hornets the ball back with a chance to take the lead.
LINE OF THE WEEK: Green Bay East
A great show of sportsmanship was showed by the Red Devils in the post-game handshake line following a loss at Little Chute. Kudos to Green Bay East for showcasing what high school sports is really all about.
