Team of the Week: Green Bay Preble
The Hornets improved to 4-0 by rallying for a 16-14 victory at De Pere. Preble forced two turnovers in the fourth quarter, including a fumble recovery that set up a 1-yard run by senior Jack Dessart for the go-ahead touchdown. Dessart also threw a 57-yard touchdown to Nick Renier on a third-and-13 in the first quarter.
Players of the Week
Dylan Hendricks, Pulaski: The North Dakota State recruit completed 5 of 7 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 212 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Red Raiders to a 35-28 victory at Green Bay Notre Dame.
Nick Howard, Green Bay Southwest: The University of South Dakota, pictured at the top, completed 17 of 25 passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns in addition to rushing for 166 yards and a touchdown on six carries to lead the Trojans to a 35-14 victory against Manitowoc for their first win of the season.
Jake Karchinski, West De Pere: The University of Iowa recruit caught a 21-yard touchdown, blocked a punt for a safety and recorded four tackles with 1.5 sacks in the Phantoms’ 33-14 victory at Luxemburg-Casco.

Nick Nielson, Peshtigo: The junior completed 13 of 22 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns, including the go-ahead score to Travis Plym to help the Bulldogs remained undefeated with a 33-30 victory over Coleman. Nielson also rushed for 70 yards on 23 carries and added a rushing touchdown in addition to making five tackles on defense.
McCoy Walechka, Kewaunee: The senior caught two passes for 54 yards, including a one-handed 42-yard touchdown, which was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays last Friday. McCoy also recorded six tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovered in helping the Storm improve to 4-0 with a 41-12 victory at Southern Door.
Offensive Line of the Week: Seymour
The Thunder averaged 5.4 yards per carry in rushing for 258 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-28 victory at Appleton Xavier behind the offensive line of senior left tackle Eli Oskey, junior left guard Jacob VerVoort, junior center Kaleb Shulfelt, senior right guard Cody Roskom, senior right tackle Zach Gerhardt and junior tight end Levi VerVoort.
