Week 3 Top Performers
A look back at top performances from Week 3 of the high school football season from the Green Bay area.
Players of the week
Tanor Bortolini, Kewaunee: The sophomore totaled five tackles, including four for losses and three sacks, to help the Storm beat Algoma in the ‘War on the Shore.’
Anthony Guarascio, Ashwaubenon: The senior was clicking on all cylinders in a win at De Pere, completing 21-of-30 passes for 357 yards and four touchdowns with an interception.
Parker James, Oconto: The senior rushed for 113 yards and four touchdowns in powering the Blue Devils during an overtime game at Southern Door.
Isaac Krause, Bay Port: The senior put together an efficient performance in a win over Manitowoc, completing 9-of-10 passes for 226 yards and five touchdowns.
Derik LeCaptain, Southern Door: Led the area in rushing yards for the second time this season with 195 yards on 32 carries, including three touchdowns in an overtime win against Oconto. The junior also made 11 tackles, including seven solo stops.
Offensive line of the week: G.B. Southwest
Cameran Crawford (LT), Paul Couillard (LG), Isaac Klarkowski (C), Robert Miller (RG) and Bryce Zacharias (RT) paved the way for 536 yards of offense in the Trojans’ 45-28 victory over Green Bay Preble.
