Week 2 Scoreboard

DE PERE – Josh Blount rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns to lead West De Pere to a 52-14 victory Friday over New London in a Bay Conference game.

The Phantoms rushed for 365 yards in the game and held the Bulldogs to just a yard on the ground in the dominating performance, which actually started with New London blocking a punt on the games first drive.

The West De Pere defense quickly turned the momentum with senior Cody Cavil intercepting a pass and returning it 78 yards for a touchdown.

The Phantoms would go on to build a 42-0 lead at the half.

David Vanderlogt added 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns for West De Pere (2-0).

West De Pere’s defense made three interceptions and recorded two sacks.
