Standings in the Stands: Week 4
A look at “Standings in the Stands” from Week 4 of the high school football season.
Remember, if you want to see your school make the cut, send AP photos on Twitter (@AndrewPekarek), Snapchat (AndrewPekarek) or Facebook (PrepsAgenda) of your crew showing its fandom at a game this week.
If you want to send videos, try to do so with a Tweet or Facebook post so it can be easily embedded because the author of this column honestly has no idea how to save videos from Snapchat but he’s trying to adapt.
Student sections, bands, teachers and parents are encouraged to apply.
The “Standings in the Stands” grand champion is a participation trophy, so your participation is needed to win.
5. Wrightstown
We’re going to give the Tigers a point for this attempt. But we were saddened not to hear from them during their game last week. Read above, follow the rules and good luck in helping your team stay unbeaten this week. We know you can roar to the No. 1 spot with some effort.
We should definitely be #1 no doubt. https://t.co/sXfSar75lt

4. Pulaski
Pulaski always does an excellent job of framing up its selfies to capture its section. Pretty sure this was standout Emily Higgins with the camera work this week. Looking forward to seeing the Red Sea in person on Friday and seeing if it still remembers my name.
3. G.B. Southwest
The Trojan horse didn’t make the trip to Manitowoc last week. John Gahnz admits it was a smaller group that made the trip to watch their team improve to 4-0. We appreciate his honesty. Southwest’s student section is resting up for what promises to be an epic cheer off against Ashwaubenon this Friday after the third quarter.
2. Luxemburg-Casco
The banana from the ‘burg made another appearance last week, according to Danae Srnka. Watching the L-C volleyball team get in some extra practice by peppering around a beach ball was also a nice touch.
1. Ashwaubenon
The Ashwaubenon Pineapple makes its first appearance on here and promptly earns the top spot in the standings this week. What can I say, I’m partial to the initials AP. The Jaguars stepped up their game big time this week thanks to Tark Meske, who we feel actually goes by Mark Teske in real life, unless his parents were just really creative and went with Tark instead. Regardless, Ben Wittig is proud right now.
