Jaguars win in Ryczkowski’s debut as coach
GREEN BAY – Brian Ryczkowski is 1-0 as Ashwaubenon’s head coach.
Ryczkowski’s new team never trailed during a 20-7 season-opening victory over Green Bay Southwest Thursday night in a Fox River Classic Conference game.
The Jaguars defense produced a few turnovers in the first half on the way to building a 14-0 lead. Junior Connor Ramage opened the scoring with a four-yard touchdown, while junior Cadian Vang connected with junior Kyle Krueger in the second quarter to extend the lead.
Vang put the game away when he found junior Luke Schroeder for a 58-yard scoring strike in the fourth quarter.
Southwest’s lone score came on a 49-yard touchdown run by senior Taejon Richard at the end of the first half.

Bay Port 42, Manitowoc 0
SUAMICO – The streak continues.
The Pirates extended their FRCC winning streak to 28 straight games.
Bay Port made quick work of the Ships, going up 21-0 in the first quarter.
Andrew Thomas completed all 10 of his passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns, including a 28-yard strike to Sam Plumb.
Pulaski 21, Sheboygan South 14
PULASKI – Joseph Oleary found Corey Waggoner in the fourth quarter for the deciding touchdown of the game.
The Red Raiders rushed for 192 yards and led 14-0 at the half before South rallied to tie the game.
Notre Dame Academy 45, Sheboygan North 6
GREEN BAY – The Tritons produced 385 yards of offense in their season-opening win.
Senior James Arett rushed for four touchdowns, as Notre Dame posted almost 300 rushing yards in the game.
